I began my career living the young copywriter's dream. Sleepless nights proofreading. Coffee-jolted team brainstorming sessions. Agency life. Tempted by the perks of big-city Houston, I then took on corporate marketing working for the biggest oilfield services company in the world. With thousands of meetings and a parade of different brands under my belt, I finally decided to work for the toughest boss of all—myself.
As a freelance writer and photographer, I continue to listen to clients around the world and work hard to be their voice and tell their story—sometimes with words, sometimes with pictures, many times with both.
On an entrepreneurial scale, I've taken risks and followed my passions to create my own brand. It's one that celebrates life, reflects the fusion of an Arab-American upbringing and fills a void in the U.S. market. Incorporating the beautiful Arabic language in modern and simplistic stationery designs has been meaningful and satisfying both personally and professionally. And the smiles on the faces of the recipients makes it a triple win.
